Eish! was founded by two friends with a passion for finance, entrepreneurship, and ice-cold drinks. Christiaan Wessels, a Certified Financial Planner, and Christiaan De Haast, a Registered Chartered Accountant, both possess a talent for identifying lucrative business opportunities. One morning in November, we discussed the ice industry and the supply shortage in Potchefstroom. De Haast worked as an affiliate at an engineering company with an ice venture. The idea for their ice factory was conceptualised, and the dream quickly became a reality.
